  • Roof Maintenance vs. Roof Replacement

We live in a zone in North Texas between the lower part of the Great Plains and the Gulf Coast; we have learned to live with the continued threat of wind and hail causing damage to our property. The potential to have roofs and buildings damage significantly is always present.

But sometimes there are small things that a property owner can do to limit damage. A small-undetected leak can also lead to major interior damage to an interior of a property.

Roofers suggest inspecting properties in the Fall and the Spring to locate potential problems early.

NRCA guidelines suggest:

  1. Cleaning Gutters
  2. Checking Shingles for damage
  3. Inspect flashing around chimneys, flues and skylights
  4. Check interior walls and ceilings for water damage
  5. Doing Routine maintenance early can avoid lots of problems in the future.
