This month at Ramey King Insurance, we are excited to celebrate our fearless leader Jeff King in his new role as Denton Chamber of Commerce Board Chair for the 2015-2016 chamber year. Jeff King has represented Ramey King in the chamber for many years. As a graduate of the first Leadership Denton class and over nine years service as the Chamber Treasurer Jeff brings a wealth of chamber knowledge and experience.
“Having the opportunity to serve as board chair of the Denton Chamber of Commerce is a great honor,” said Jeff, “I have always believed that the Chamber of Commerce is critically important to assuring that the business community has a voice and that businesses have the opportunity to succeed in Denton”. The Denton Chamber of Commerce works to enhance the economic development of the Denton by promoting a favorable business climate and creating a platform for community interest issues and leadership opportunities. As a local business owner Jeff has a first hand understanding of the importance and value of collaboration between the Chamber and Denton businesses. As Chair, Jeff will bring the same kind focused detailed approach to Denton Chamber that he brings to his clients and customers. Ramey King Insurance is one of the oldest businesses in Denton dating back to 1881 as the O.L. Poe Agency and was one of the original members of the Denton Chamber of Commerce when it was establish in 1909.
