Meet Jeremiah Brady, our Life and Health insurance specialist.
What do you do at Ramey & King, and how long have you worked here?
I handle Life and Health Insurance at Ramey & King and primarily specialize in commercial/group benefits for Texas independent employers. The Kings and Mr. Richard Craven, our former Health Agent, brought me in last year to oversee our existing book of business. I have been managing the relationships and engaging with our community since.
How did you get into the business, and what do you like about it?
I previously worked in financial services as an advisor and relationship manager and have enjoyed meeting with business owners and entrepreneurs and helping them through the complicated decisions that come with owning a business and starting a venture. I truly love the opportunity to see a company’s story grow and succeed.
How do you define success?
I believe success is doing what you love and loving what you do.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
My hobbies have always revolved around nurturing health, wealth, and relationships. If I’m not practicing a new exercise program or researching the latest trends in business, I will most likely be enjoying quality time with my family and friends.
What’s your favorite thing to do in Denton?
I frequently venture the local businesses in Denton and try to experience as much of the Denton life as possible downtown on the square or recreationally joy riding my road bike through the community.
What’s something about you that might surprise people?
Prior to my professional career dealing with commercial clients and local businesses, I was a certified personal trainer for many years and ran operations for multiple gyms in the DFW area helping people with their fitness journey. It still is a strong passion of mine and will always be.
